Climate Action Resource for Australian Councils
Ironbark Sustainability provide important information to local government councils to enable real-world action on climate change. The information presented needs to be clear, engaging and accurate.
Co-authored with ICLEI Oceania, the ‘Climate Review 2021’ report contained dozens of charts that needed to be designed and incorporated into a professional looking and attractive report that would be shared widely. We had free rein with the design, as they had no brand guidelines nor published collateral they had any desire to replicate.
We worked up a colour palette by pairing the orange from their logo with a warm green and various tints of oranges. We introduced infographics and illustrations to create some visual interest and break up the lengthy text coverage.
They were great to work with and very patient with multiple rounds of [author] revisions.
